摘要创办科技期刊时确定的办刊宗旨，体现了办刊者的初心；遵循这一宗旨去实现办刊目标，是办刊者的使命。牢记初心使命，办好中文科技期刊，为我国科技进步和现代化建设服务，是国家对科技期刊出版工作的必然要求，也是科技期刊办刊者义不容辞的历史责任。把卓众出版作为一个案例来剖析，不难找到佐证支撑作者的观点。
