摘要：论文采用文献整理法，结合文本“回译”及其副文本信息，对年版《太极拳》英文本的著译者、出版内容、出版机构及影响进行了考证。研究认为，该英文本是目前发现的首个系统英译太极拳拳理拳技的出版物，至今由海外不同出版社接连再版17次，流传70余年，是宝贵的太极拳文化遗产，为中华文化外译史、中国武术史、中国体育史提供了新的史料，具有重要的历史文献价值和学术价值。

Abstract:Bymeansofliteraturereviewandinvestigation,thepapermakesaverificationofT‘ai-ChiCh‘üan:ItsEffectsandPracticalApplicationspublishedinintermsofitsauthor,translator,contents,publishinghouseandinfluenceswiththeaidofbacktranslationanditsparatexts.ThestudyholdsthatthebookisthefirstEnglishbookabouttaijiquanknowledgeandskillswithover17versionsofreprintspublishedbydifferentpressesinthepastover70years.T‘ai-ChiCh‘üan:ItsEffectsandPracticalApplicationsisasignificantrecordaboutthelegacyoftaijiquancultureofhighhistoricalandacademicvalue,whichcanoffernewinsightsforChinastudies.
